Steve McDonough
Vice President, GHG Management Innovations
Steve McDonough is VP, GHG Management Innovations and heads ClimateCHECK operations in the Eastern United States. Steve has worked in the environmental industry for the last 12 years in both the nonprofit and private sector. During the last 6 years, Steve has focused in the areas of sustainability, GHG management, environmental managements systems, and environmental performance and compliance information systems.
Prior to ClimateCHECK, Steve worked as a consultant for an environmental software company (or Enviance) where he lead the development of their GHG management solution based on WRI/WBSCD GHG Protocol for Corporate Accounting and various US voluntary programs. Prior to that, Steve worked as the Regional Manager for Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and worked with the US Director of Sustainability and Climate Change Services providing policy analysis, market research, standards interpretation, and business development support. In addition, he became accredited to be an ISO 14001 auditor and conducted EMS audits for numerous Fortune 500 clients.
