ClimateCHECK offers verification services for GHG reduction projects, inventories, technologies/products and programs. ClimateCHECK uses established standards (such as ISO 14064 Part 3) and applies our expertise for verifying GHG assertions, including the underlying plans, protocols, management systems, controls, procedures, methodologies and data in line with the objectives and needs of intended users. ClimateCHECK’s verification services provide customers with an independent opinion on their GHG assertions to provide assurance about the credibility of GHG activities (e.g. projects, inventory).

Auditing the Auditor – Due Diligence
ClimateCHECK’s knowledge of standards and verification protocols/procedures has given us a reputation of excellence and integrity. For clients that want to double check the work of other auditors for purposes of due diligence, ClimateCHECK can review the previous auditor’s documentation to assure the quality of the verification and related assertions.
Verification Services for GHG Reduction Projects
Climate CHECK can verify (“ex post”, after the start of the project and generation of emission reductions) of GHG project assertions, such as amount of tonnes of CO2e reduced or conformance with a specific standard or program (e.g. ISO 14064, CDM Approved Methodologies). We also perform pre-verification “test audits” to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement before the actual verification.
